CHARITY AUCTION
CHARITY AUCTION at the Haven Arms, Hedon, Friday, 25 May 2018 starting at 7.30pm.
ALL WELCOME to bid on items – whether you have £1 to spend – or much more!
The charity auctioneer and organiser, George Charlton, is asking for donations of items (non-electrical) which can be auctioned off for a good cause. George said “Whether it’s wine, spirits, pies, cakes, chutneys, pickles – or any other non-electrical item – any item which can be auctioned is welcome!”
The Auction will be to raise funds for the Lily Mae appeal. Young Lily Mae (7) cannot walk or talk, but the most immediate medical problem she faces are the many seizures she has both night and day.
The NHS at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) have developed a procedure which will elleviate the seizures but the tests and surgery require several lengthy stays in hospital.
The funds raised will enable Lily Mae’s parents and her brother to cover the costs of hotels, meals and transport whilst staying in London during Lily’s treatment.
Donations should be received at the Haven Arms, Havenside, Hedon, HU12 8HH no later than Friday, 18 May, please.
