“BUSIER, more competitors, more visitors….” this was how John Newby from the Hedon & District Chrysanthemum Society summed up the 66th Annual Show held at the Alexandra Hall on Saturday (1st November 2014).
As well as beautiful Chrysanthemums, the show also had a vegetables section and crafts, arts and cookery entries.
Over 30 prizes, trophies and certificates were awarded immediately after the event and presented to winners by the Rev. Colin Plenderleith. This year’s winners of the ‘most meritorious exhibit in show’ were David Heath with the Silver Award and Peter Everingham with the Bronze Award.
