VILLAGERS IN PAULL have created their own Heritage Trail which was officially launched yesterday at St Andrew’s Church by the new Vicar to the Parish the Reverend Kathy Lawrie.
A Guide Book has been written by villager Paul Cross and edited by local historian John Markham, which takes you around the trail via marker posts. Children from Paull Primary School have been involved in helping produce the marker post images.
At each Marker Post the guide explains part of the history of the village which dates back to the Domesday Book.
There are two routes on the Paull Heritage Trail, a short route which takes about 1 ½ hours (which is entirely suitable for wheelchair users) and longer route, along riverside paths, that lasts about 2 hours (which is not wheelchair friendly).
The Guide Book costs £2.50 and is available through St Andrew’s Church and from the village pubs.
