Christmas LightsThe festival of Hedon’s Christmas Lights 2009 will take place on Friday 27th November.  The lights will be formally switched on at 6:30pm by the Town Mayor.

Shaun Tilley from KCFM Radio will be covering the event live from the Market Place from 5.45pm onwards. This annual event is always popular with residents and visitors and this year will be no exception.

A Barrel Organ will provide traditional background music to the fair rides on the night and the ‘Bucking Bronco’ returns to thrill and throw riders. Ice cream, hot chesnuts and other refresments will be available from stalls and from Alexandra Hall.

Christmas carols will be sung around the tree and Father Christmas will have a special grotto in the Town Hall.

Motorists please note that the town centre streets will be closed to traffic between 5pm and 9:30pm.
