The South Holderness Cricket Club has suffered from the impacts of Coronavirus and the restrictions on the sport. It now seeks financial support via its Go Fund Me page to continue playing cricket competitively and to ensure that its younger players are supported.
“It has already made a massive difference; the trees no longer pose a Health and Safety threat, and the Artificial Wicket and new Mobile Net have already had plenty of use from both Junior and Senior members in the two weeks since they were completed.
35 groups benefit from the Yorkshire Water Saltend Community Fund including Hedon Methodist Church. David McDonald from the church was jubilant about the £5,000 awarded to extend the church and continue to grow its activities…
