Commissioner seeks volunteers to scrutinise aspects of police work

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Humberside is seeking volunteers to help scrutinise aspects of police work. In particular, Commissioner Keith Hunter is looking for volunteers to join two new groups looking at the use of police powers and how the police deal with hate crime.

RESIDENTS, community and voluntary groups in the area are invited to submit bids to the Police and Crime Commissioner’s (PCC) Crime Reduction Fund. Over £1.5m of funding is available over the next four years for community projects that aid crime reduction or aim to protect the public and improve public safety.
