THE NEW SEASON 2020 at HEDON MUSEUM starts on Wednesday 4 March with an opportunity to learn about a proud maritime tradition on the Humber. Hull-based United Towing Co. Ltd. was the leading towing and salvage company in the UK at the peak of its 70-year history. That history will be reflected in model ships and other displays during the Museum’s opening exhibition from March 4 until April 18th.
Model ships, vintage cameras and 1970’s memorabilia will feature along with traditional artworks at exhibitions on display at Hedon Museum during its 2020 season from March to November.
ArtWaves is back for 2020, taking over Bridlington’s signature venue Bridlington Spa and further afield for its sixth year on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 May 2020 with an additional fringe programme running from Monday 25 May.
“2019 is going to be an exciting year for Hedon Museum. We’ll have history, artists and photographers,” explains museum media officer Katy Miller.
