The South Holderness Cricket Club has suffered from the impacts of Coronavirus and the restrictions on the sport. It now seeks financial support via its Go Fund Me page to continue playing cricket competitively and to ensure that its younger players are supported.
“It has already made a massive difference; the trees no longer pose a Health and Safety threat, and the Artificial Wicket and new Mobile Net have already had plenty of use from both Junior and Senior members in the two weeks since they were completed.
In this article following an interview with Malc Ripley earlier this year (reproduced from the June issue of our newspaper, the Herald – which will be back later this year by the way), we find out a little bit more about our enthusiastic cricket correspondent.
