For the next month Hedon Museum will be holding an exhibition of wedding dresses, dating from the 1890s to the 1990s. Free Admission. Wednesdays and Saturdays from Wednesday 17th July – Saturday 7th September.

A programme of entertainment is being introduced at The Mill in Hedon starting with a covers band “Light the Fuse” on Friday 26th July. Band takes to the stage at 9:30pm. Expect a bit of Madness, Arctic Monkeys, The Kinks, Greenday, Stereophonics, etc.
Preston Show & Family Fun Day will be held on Saturday, 27th July 2019. It will be staged once again in the grounds of The Nag’s Head, Sproatley Road, Preston. Admission 50p. Gates open at 12.30pm.
Holderness Lions are holding a Family Fun Race Night on Thursday 25th July in The Alexandra Hall, Hedon. Tickets £3. Doors open 7pm first race 7.30pm.
The Vicarage in Thorngumbald is hosting a Garden Party for St Mary’s on Saturday, August 3 with a puppet play of “Saint George and the Dragon” being the main feature (2pm – 4pm)…

Artists James Lee and Dianne Brown will display their unique exhibits every Saturday and Wednesday, 10am – 4pm until Saturday, July 13 at Hedon Museum. The museum can be found via Watmough’s Arcade in the town centre where notice boards will direct you towards the museum.
HEDON METHODIST CHURCH is proclaiming just how ‘messy’ it will be! But that’s just how the church describes its crafts, music and story time mornings! ‘Messy Church’ takes place on Saturday 13 July 2019 from 10 am to 12 noon. This is for all ages and particularly families – but everyone is welcome.
