THE Hedon & District Royal British Legion (RBL) standard has been flying at half-mast this week. This is to mark the death of and pay respects to Dame Vera Lynn who died at her Sussex home on Thursday 18 June aged 103.

From Monday 22 June, St Augustine’s Church, Hedon will be open for private prayer. Monday 10-30-12 noon, Thursday 10.30-12 noon and Sunday 2-4pm.
