SANDHILL Garden Centre in Preston is raising money at Christmas for the Marie Curie charity. On Sunday, 16 December 2018 the MAINLY UKULELE band will provide free entertainment to support the fundraising activities of the Marie Curie volunteers between 1pm and 3pm.
“Finding Your Feet” is the December Film Night offering at Preston Community Hall. Starring Imelda Staunton Timothy Spall and Joanna Lumley, the film is to be screened Friday, December 14 2018 at 7.15pm. Doors open 6.45pm and admission is £4.00. Tea/ coffee/ licensed bar.

LIVE MUSIC at Preston Community Hall with local girl, KATIE SPENCER, on Friday 14th September 2018 at 7.45 p.m. Katie was a support act to Ralph McTell at his recent Hull concert and is currently busy performing around the country. This performance at Preston Community Hall is very much a homecoming concert for Katie who went to South Holderness school.
A giant cheque presentation will take place on Saturday, 8 September 2018 to hand over the proceeds raised at the Preston Show and Family Fun Day held in July, to charity Nice 2b Nice. The presentation night starts at 8pm at the Nag’s Head on Sproatley Road, Preston.
Cockstock2018 at the Cock & Bell pub, Main Street, Preston takes place this year on Saturday 8 September and will be raising money for charities The Kerry Key Foundation, the Riding for the Disabled Association and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
On Friday, 7th September, 2018 Preston Community Hall will be showing Alfred Hitchcock’s thriller “North by Northwest”.
