The Hedon appeal to establish a permanent War Memorial for the town is meeting with public support. A street collection will be held on Saturday, September 15; a coffee morning at the Town Hall on Thursday, September 20, 10am; and a special Fundraising Dinner with Entertainment will be held on the evening of Friday, November 2.
Hedon Museum is exhibiting the work of a prestigious artist who this year had her painting displayed at the Royal Academy of Arts in London. Exhibition runs until Sat 13 Oct. Opening times – every Wednesday and Saturday 10am – 4pm. FREE ADMISSION. Tea, coffee and biscuits are available. Souvenirs and books for sale.

LIVE MUSIC at Preston Community Hall with local girl, KATIE SPENCER, on Friday 14th September 2018 at 7.45 p.m. Katie was a support act to Ralph McTell at his recent Hull concert and is currently busy performing around the country.
