‘Artisans in the Museum’ – Wood, Paint and Photography

‘Artisans in the Museum’ is the new exhibition at Hedon Museum. Featuring the work of local artistic artisans, it includes woodturning creations by Morley Richards, paintings of flowers by John Parks, and the photography of Ray Duffill.

The exhibition of all three artisan’s works opens on Wednesday, October 13 and will be open every Wednesday and Saturday from 10am – 4pm until Saturday, 27 November 2021.

Most of the pieces of work on display at ‘Artisans in the Museum’ will be for sale and will make perfect albeit unusual Christmas gifts.

Admission to the Hedon Museum is free.

Hedon residents visiting the Museum on a Wednesday? Don’t forget the little town bus service!

Hedon Museum has a permanent exhibition downstairs and regularly changing exhibitions upstairs. There is a modern stairlift to reach the exhibition room. The museum has a ‘Photo Album Corner’ where you can sit and look through photos of people and places in the area – and you might be able to help us identify some of these.

On a museum open day on Wednesday and Saturday, look out for the signs and noticeboards around town guiding you to the entrance via Watmough’s Arcade.

Free Admission. Open Wednesdays and Saturdays, 10am – 4pm.
