Hedon

Visit Hedon Market? Nice Wednesdays in Hedon town – get the bus!

Nice Wednesdays in Hedon!

A VISIT to Hedon Market on Wednesday is a weekly tradition for many local people. A browse around the market, a look at the local shops for those luxury items as well as picking up the essentials, and perhaps a bite to eat at one of the cafes/coffee shops or pubs, or a visit to one of the many attractions – it all makes for a nice day out.

Of course, not everyone has the time for nice Wednesdays, and for some, it is completely out of the question because of the difficulties of walking into town or using and parking the car is not practical. Well, things just got a whole lot easier for residents thanks to the Hedon Town Bus Service!

Wednesdays in Hedon for the Market
Visit Hedon Market – a stepping stone to the town’s other shops, eating places, and attractions.

If you live in the Leaf Sail Farm area, for example, you can now hail & ride the bus on a Wednesday from just after 11 am on Cleeve Road and be in the town centre 20 minutes later. Following your ‘nice Wednesday’ experience, you could even time it so you can get the bus back from the town at 1.40pm and be home again by 2pm.

The Hedon Town Bus is a great new service on a Wednesday! Do use it and tell other residents about it!
