In what might be its last meetings in the church subject to the ending of Coronavirus restrictions, Hedon Town Council holds two of its committees at St. Augustine’s on Thursday, June 10th 2021.
The Planning Committee meets first at 7.15pm followed immediately by the Property Committee. While the Planning Committee will not be considering anything controversial, it will be interesting to discover the Yorkshire Energy Park (YEP) correspondence regarding the council’s involvement in a Liaison Group. The Town Council had previously agreed to contact YEP regarding possible new tree planting in the green zone buffer land between the development and the town.
The request from Luxe Restaurant to place tables and chairs in Market Place has been the subject of a town council working group deliberation. This working group will report back to the Property Committee. There will also be a report from the Amenity Areas working group. Working groups involve councillors and can include members of the public. They have no decision-making powers but can make recommendations to the council.
The public is welcome to attend the meetings to observe the proceedings. Observe social distancing, use face coverings and track & trace.
