Walk: Hedon to Paull

The next post in our Walking series. This direct Hedon to Paull walk starts from the Haven Arms in Hedon and ends in the village of Paull. It takes about an hour and takes in views of the industrial landscape of the Saltend Chemicals Park and scenic views of the Humber estuary. The section of the walk alongside the chemicals park is expected to be redirected as that land is developed, so take these views in while you can.

Once in Paull, in normal times you could have stopped for a meal in one of the wonderful pubs, or coffee and cake in the church cafe on a Sunday, but with the current pandemic then you have the option of a Paull walk or catch the bus back to Hedon. You could opt to walk back to Hedon along the same route or take the road walk back (more about this later in the series).

Can be a muddy and slippery in areas after prolonged rainfall. Take particular care when climbing down/up under the bridge.

This links to what3words addresses refer to a 3 metre square location.

Coronavirus Note: You should currently minimise time spent outside your home, but you can leave your home to do an exercise walk. This should be limited to once per day, and you should not travel outside your local area. You can exercise in a public outdoor place, by yourself, with the people you live with, with your support bubble (if you are legally permitted to form one) or, when on your own, with 1 person from another household. Whilst walking you should maintain social distancing.
