‘With the lovely weather, the slight easing of restrictions and the hope of further improvement, many of us are out-and-about more, and the world is looking more cheerful. This prayer abridged from Evening Prayer seems particularly appropriate:
Blessed are you, Sovereign Lord,
our light and our salvation,
to you be glory and praise forever.
As you call us into your marvellous light,
may our lives bear witness to your truth
and our lips never cease to proclaim your praise.
Blessed be God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit!’
