Virtual Pub Quiz Night – Number 5 – Monday 1 June 2020

VIRTUAL PUB QUIZ NIGHT – Monday 1 June 2020.
Organised by the Hull City Official Supporters Club.

We’re back again on Monday 1st June at 8pm on your laptop, tablet, iPad etc with a 4 round quiz which, judging by the attendees and feedback we’ve been getting, is proving a popular means of passing 90 minutes every fortnightly Monday!

It’ll be on Zoom again – this is free to use.

If you’ve not already used Zoom, don’t worry it is very easy to set up and you do not have to enter any payment details.

Once you’re in Zoom you will need to enter

Meeting ID: 892 1636 8252   Password: 246189

Please join the meeting before 8pm, ideally from 7.45pm onwards.

As usual please limit your team size to 6 people. We suggest that if other team members are not in your home with you, that you set up a Whatsapp or Messenger text group so that you can all work together remotely, or use the private message button on the Zoom App, everyone will need to be able to view the picture round & hear the music round.

Once the quiz host starts the questions you can mute your sounds so that you do not give your answers away. We will guide you through giving your results.

Whilst we’re conscious that people’s main spending priority at the moment may not be a donation to charity, but if you are able, we would really appreciate if you felt able to support the two causes we are raising money for throughout 2020 with our usual quizzes.

You can donate here: www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/hullcityofficialsupporterclub and we will split any monies raised, between:

The Angus MacDonald Foundation
Formed by our #15, Angus MacDonald who successfully combated the early stages of bowel cancer last year, the Foundation has been set up to raise awareness around cancer diagnosis in young people and to use sport as an activity and a rehabilitation mechanism when people have had treatment, to get them fit and active again.

Tigers Trust
We think it’s important to support a cause that’s close to football, to something Hull City related if we can but also something that the local community can benefit from. The Tigers Trust:-
• provide facilities for improving health and social cohesion through participation in sport and leisure activities.
• advance educational opportunities for young people and adults, working with a wide range of partners.
• promote activities that will enhance social welfare and inclusion for families and people of all ages.

“To date and including offline donations, our virtual quizzes have raised a massive £560.00 – just brilliant, thank you!” – Kathryn Townsley, Chair, OSC.
