HEDON VIEWFINDERS is the town-based free, fun and friendly photography club that welcomes everyone whether a seasoned pro or a complete novice. Particularly at New Year, many people are getting to grips with their new Christmas cameras or phones, and wish that they could take their hobby further. Well, you can!
Come to Hedon Viewfinders and you’ll find an enjoyable way to learn and practice the art, craft and science of making images. With an interesting range of practical sessions, speakers, and photo opportunity trips arranged, both near and far, a series of friendly competitions in planning, and with an age range from teenagers to senior citizens – you’ll find your time with us pleasurable and rewarding.
Come along to our next meeting and find out more – there are no long-term commitments, no fees or entry charges, no membership restrictions or waiting lists. Just the opportunity to enjoy photography!
Our first meeting of 2020 takes place next Wednesday 8 January, 7pm at the Haven Arms, Havenside, Hedon, HU12 8HH and will be a ‘Props Night – a chance to experiment’.
Bring in your interesting objects (ornaments, toys, instruments, flowers, crystal balls, etc) and any useful kit you might have, and help us create and share some photographic opportunities. This might be for still life, macro and close-up shots, bokeh (don’t let the jargon put you off!), water shots, painting with light – this night’s photography is only limited by our imagination and space!
