OVER *200 bikers and motorcycles ensured that Hedon’s first ever Biker Weekend was a success.
Ian Baldwin (pictured) one of the organisers of the event hailed it successful despite the inclement weather which made camping a difficult option. But a waterlogged campsite and even a fierce hailstorm didn’t dampen spirits with 60+ bikers participating in the return ‘ride-out’ through Hedon, the Holderness countryside and across to Withernsea.
Entertainment continues this afternoon at the Haven Arms base of the biker event until late in the evening. Entertainment is free but collections are being held to cover the costs of the event.
*UPDATE: Ian Baldwin reckons around 200 different bikes visited during the Hedon Biker Weekend. The Ride Out from Haven Arms was captured here on video by Danielle Hayes a journalism student from Hull School of Art & Design.
