Hedon: Fire walking for Charity

Fire walkingHOT footed adventures are expected at the Haven Arms on Saturday 26th March 2016 when charity Nice 2b Nice will be holding their Firewalking Challenge event and party!

Note: UK Firewalk is the renowned organiser and safety champion of the actual Firewalk. They have appeared on TV programmes such as DIY SOS, Football Saved My Life, Guinness World Records, Sky Sports Soccer AM, The Magicians and Comic Relief.

Fifty Daredevil Firewalkers have volunteered to take part, but organiser Dave Freer says that there are still opportunities for new walkers to take part if they can commit to raising sponsorship monies for the challenge between now and the 26th March.

“…hot foot it to the Haven on Sat. 26th March…”

As well as the Firewalking which takes place earlier in the evening from 6 pm, there is also a fantastic family event taking place in the Haven Arms marquee featuring the band BUD SUGAR. from 8 pm. After the ‘heat to your feet’ from Firewalking, then (in the words of BBC Radio Humberside’s David ‘Burnsy’ Burns), ‘these boys bring the beat to your feet!’

As well as the live music there will be food, a DJ and Music until late. And all for only £2 (Firewalkers get free entry).

So, as corny as it sounds, you need to hot foot it down to the Haven arms, Hedon for 6 pm on Saturday 26th March 2016!

Note: The Haven Arms is found on Havenside in Hedon off Sheriff Highway, HU12 8HH.
