Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes 2015

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD is one of the largest children’s Christmas projects in the world, run by the Christian charity Samaritan’s Purse. The project has been sending gift-filled shoeboxes to disadvantaged children around the world since 1990, bringing joy into the lives of over 80 million children.

The popular shoebox appeal has been running annually in Hedon for several years and from last year it has been coordinated by Mrs Brenda Goldspink.

Leaflets about the Shoebox Appeal can be obtained from Hedon Library or Boots the Chemist in the Market Place. Boots will also be a drop-off point for filled Shoeboxes along with 3, Merryman Garth, Hedon.
