Holderness Grange Choir Appeal: “Men – Lend us your voices!”

Holderness Grange Scarecrows - need singersHOLDERNESS Grange Choir are seeking more male singers.

The choir which attracts members from across the district, and is currently rehearsing for its Christmas concerts in December 2015, wants to attract more male, deeper-toned voices to join the group from next year.

This is a perfect opportunity for any individual man interested in singing, but there is scope for Fathers, Sons and Grandsons to sing together too. The choir already has a couple of mother/daughter duos.

Holderness Grange Choir holgaSuzanne Lenton, the choir’s promotion and social media officer, suggests a minimum age of 16 is probably appropriate but there is no maximum age! Anybody who can hold a tune, is welcome to get involved. You don’t need to be able to read music.

Must be able and willing to attend rehearsals on a Tuesday nights (7pm – 9:30pm) at Holderness Grange Lifestyle Village, Drapers Lane, Hedon and possibly some extra practices as needed.
