The East Riding Branch of the FSB (Federation of Small Businesses) has pledged its support to HedFest (the Hedon Festival).
Mike Bisby the Chairman of the Branch attended the HedFest organising committee yesterday and said that the FSB was committed to bringing together business and the arts to boost the local economy.
The FSB which has several member businesses in the town will be actively involved with the festival organisation as a partner and will contribute £3,000 towards the costs of staging the event.
One of the key outcomes of HedFest is to support and strengthen economic activity in the town.
HedFest is still seeking support and sponsorship for the festival – if your business or organisation can help contact Hedon Town Council in the first instance at e.mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
Supporting businesses and organisations will get a mention in the HedFest programme, brochures and publicity plus there may be other rewards and free tickets!
