The 669th Mayor of Hedon – Councillor Neil Black

COUNCILLOR NEIL BLACK is the new and 669th Mayor of Hedon. As local tradition dictates, the new Mayor after being duly elected made his first public appearance at the Hedon Penny Throwing Ceremony on Thursday 28th May 2015 where he dutifully despatched the Mayoral pennies to local children waiting outside the Town Hall.

The Mayoress is the Mayor’s wife Mrs Linda Black. The new Deputy Mayor is Councillor Di Storr with her son Richard Storr appointed the Deputy Mayor’s consort.
