CLOCKS go forward to British Summer Time (Daylight Saving Time) on Sunday 29th March 2015 at 1am. Just before 1am clocks should be turned forward one hour.
Sunrise and sunset will be about 1 hour later on March 29th than the day before. There will be more light in the evening.
The term “spring forward – fall back” is meant to trigger your memory to set your clocks forward one hour in the spring at the start, and one hour back in the ‘fall’ (US term for autumn).
Have any readers got funny stories of forgetting to change your clocks i.e. turning up for an appointment, date, work an hour early?
