MP Graham Stuart in Hedon Street Surgery

Street Surgery petitions

GRAHAM STUART MP (Member of Parliament) for Beverley and Holderness, will be holding one of his regular outdoor surgeries on Saturday 28th February 2015 in Hedon Market Place, weather permitting.

The Street Surgery will take place from 10.30am until midday.

Residents are invited to come and speak with their MP about any issues or concerns they may have, or just stop by to say hello.

No appointment is necessary.

A very busy Saturday morning in the Market Place, and most of the people who came to speak to Graham were Thorngumbald residents, (some of them being members of the pub closure working group – see the HU12 blog item) all of them expressing concern over the potential adverse impacts of the new Co-op, in particular the damage it will cause to existing shops!

    I offered my services to the group and was invited to attend their first meeting on Tuesday. Of course I will be there.

    Cllr Mike Bryan has an existing commitment to attend a meeting in Paull that night.
