WHO would have thought on February 5th 2009, when I quickly – without much thought, really – started a Blog about Hedon, that it would still be here to reach its sixth birthday!?
Certainly not me!
Thank you to all those that write for, read, comment on, contribute news towards, or otherwise engage with the Hedon Blog. Thanks also to Glenn Stallard for doing our celebratory logo all those years ago – and thanks to all of you for making it possible to put a 6 in the centre!
It’s a pleasurable – albeit time and energy-consuming – activity to publish the Hedon Blog. But the website does need more correspondents to chase up and ensure that we cover everything that is happening in the town. So if you have time and are keen to write-up general reports on local sport, church or charitable activities, local history, etc – or help us cover the local council and other community meetings and events in the town, then please do get in touch and we can introduce you to the wonderful world of blogging 🙂

More and more people rely on the blog for all sorts of information, it is a book full of infomation Hedon, and the surounding area is lucky to have access to.
