SOME images from the new Skate Park extension on the Haven bankside off Draper’s Lane fields, taken April 2014.

The skate park extension has been built by Hedon Town Council at a cost of £95,000. It was completed in January 2014.

The Skate Park does seem very popular with the young people using it. But what’s the local verdict on the extension? What do young people and their parents think of it?

Any grumbles? Want to give praise?

  1. typical ” stupid ” waste of taxpayers money,
built in the middle of ” nowhere ”
yet another calamity, by the ” so called ” public servants

  2. Jim Lindop deserves every praise for getting the skate park up and running. He took an avid interest in organising a meeting with the local lads (including my Grandson) through to seeing it actually built. My Grandson Reece and his mates had a hand in the design and would go every day to talk with the workmen when it was being constructed. They are thrilled with the outcome and are there most days (keeping them off the streets). A good result all round.
