A COFFEE MORNING has been arranged by a group of young friends to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. The Hedon Town Council has given special permission for the event to be held, free of charge, in the ancient Town Hall on St Augustine’s Gate.
Naomi Bean (21), one of the organisers, told the Hedon Blog:
“We are hosting a coffee morning for Macmillan on Saturday January 11th 2014 from 8am – 12pm at the Town Hall in Hedon. We know it’s a while off but we are wanting to get it out there and advertised so we can get as many of you lovely people involved as possible! There will be tea, coffee and juice there and also a bake sale stall and lots more!”
So get the date down in your diaries folks – Saturday January 11th 2014 from 8am – 12 noon – and give your support in the New Year to these charitable and enterprising young people!
