A NEW STAR of the pop world might be discovered tonight (Wednesday 24th July 2013) at the Haven Arms 7:00pm, when it stages the second semi-final of the Hull Daily Mail’s Star Search competition.
Over 100 performers have taken part in the heats since March, and 12 contestants will be competing tonight to secure a place in the Grand Final at Hull City Hall on Wednesday 4th August 2013.

What a brilliant night at the Haven arms, some brilliant acts. Just a shame the winners weren’t a bit more magnanamous towards their fellow performers, comments overheard in the ladies re other acts, singing others songs and then performing a song at the end another act had sung beautifully earlier. Overall good night first time at the Have but will be returning
