Unoriginal Sin – in Bilton!

BILTON AMATEUR DRAMATIC SOCIETY proudly present Unoriginal Sin an hilarious comedy written by David Tristam and directed by Keith Davison.

Eve is twenty-four and never been kissed. Well, not properly. Bill is forty-ish, rich, alcoholic and with the sex drive of an adolescent bull on steroids. Eve is engaged to Neville. Bill is married to Jenny. Jenny is having an affair with Jeremy, but she remains utterly devoted to her husband’s cheque book. Miles is Bill’s best friend. Or at least he was, before he discovered Bill’s underpants hanging from the light-shade in his bedroom. Then there’s Father Tomlin. At least he’s taken a lifelong vow of celibacy. Or so his daughter claims. Original Sin? It seems there’s nothing very original about it any more…

The play – which the Society says is probably not suitable for young children as it suggests adult themes – takes place from Tuesday 17th May – Friday 20th May 2011 at the Bilton Theatre, Main Road, Bilton. Performance starts at 7:45pm.

To book seats (£5, Concessions £4) ring 01482 812750 and speak to Steve. (after 6pm on weekdays though, please – any time at weekends)

  1. This has been a great success, not so much in terms of attendance figures so far (tonight is the exception – we are sold out) but the reaction we’ve had from those that have been to see it. Unsolicited emails and telephone calls from our patrons praising the entire cast and director – what more could we ask for? We have also got a few new members in the pipeline so may even get back to our 3 plays per year eventually!
