EXHIBITION: Glyn Scargill – paintings and prints
Until 14th May 2011 (Saturday and Wednesday – 10am – 4pm).
The paintings depict the landscape and architecture of towns and villages in the East Riding.
Withernsea-born Glyn Scargill left school with just an O-level in art and trained as a draughtsman, but now has been painting seriously for 12 years.
His work is shown throughout England and is found in private collections from as far afield as America, South Africa, and Australia.
