THE STATION PUB in Souttergate undergoes its improvement works from next Monday 17th May 2010. The improvements include constructing a new smoking shelter and creating a new entrance and gate to the large family beer garden at the rear of the pub.
Jackie the Landlady is keen that regulars and new visitors are aware that the pub will be open during most of the works taking place albeit at certain hours:
- For two weeks starting 17th May the pub will be open Monday – Friday from 4pm onwards. It will be open on Saturdays and Sundays as normal.
- The pub will be open over Bank Holiday Weekend Saturday 29th May – Monday 31st May as normal.
- The pub will be closed completely from Tuesday 1st June – Friday 4th June.
The works should be completed after this time.
