The proposal to build 3 houses on Cloeberry Way goes before the Council’s Eastern Area Planning Sub-Committee on Monday 22nd March 2010.
The recommendation is that the decision is delegated to council officers who have the power to approve the application unless expected consultation responses to the plans and flood risk assessment raise any new matters not already considered by the Council.
It has been acknowledged that the loss of parking provision could cause inconvenience to local residents. The planning application (i.e. the Council) has to demonstrate that the loss of parking is “acceptable” and that adequate provision is available elsewhere.
Four letters of objection have been received by the Council and a petition containing 15 names and addresses also objected to the proposal.
