THE LOCAL BRANCH of the Parkinson’s Disease Society are holding a Christmas Carol Service at St Augustine’s Church, Hedon on Saturday 19th December 2009 from 6pm – 7pm.

The Hull and East Yorkshire Branch is a self-help group of the Society and are holding the event as a fundraiser and monies raised will go towards the Society and also to the Church Restoration Fund.

The main aim of the group is to improve the quality of life for people with Parkinson’s and their carers and to find a cure for this debilitating condition. If you have an interest in, or suffer from Parkinson’s Disease then you can contact the group for further information.
