HEDON IS TO be featured in Yorkshire Life magazine from next Friday 20th November 2009. The feature will be underpinned by a wonderful set of images published by local freelance photographer Neil Holmes and constitutes a delightful souvenir of the town. The set of iconic photos will include shots of the seldom-seen Kilnsea Cross and the interior of Lambert House.

The magazine costs £2.95 from newsagents – it might be worth ordering your copy from local newsagents so that you don’t miss out.

  1. The editor says:

“My apologies for the unfortunate proofing error made in a hard pressed production department which led to the abrupt ending of the Hedon feature. It was simple human error which I hope you will be generous enough to forgive this one time. Please accept my apologies too for the delay in responding to your concerns. The days are very hectic and I am often catching up with my emails out of office hours.”

Oh dear – sounds like she needs training in time management as well as proof-reading!

  2. A few copies of Yorkshire Life are now available in local Hedon Newsagents.

The article and photographs are brilliant as expected but unfortunately the Picture Editor has opted not to include the interior shots of Lambert House. And irritatingly the feature ends mid-sentence!

But still putting Hedon on the Yorkshire and national map!
